Designed by Julien Renault, Layout Armchair 243 offers a flexible and innovative design shaped by a commitment to comfort, functionality, and circularity. Characterised by the opening in the backrest, this defining feature provides greater comfort while giving its appearance a sense of lightness and transparency. Featuring an upholstered seat for a warm, inviting expression and a five-legged castor base with a height-adjustable gas lift that adds functionality and flexibility, all chair components can be fully disassembled to extend its lifespan and enable refurbishment for long-term use. The shell is crafted from a minimum of 96% post-consumer recycled plastic and offered in a wide range of colours. The aluminium base comes in polished or powder-coated variants, with the upholstered seat available in a variety of fabric and olive-leaf tanned leather options, making Layout a versatile and durable seating solution ideal for most corporate settings and domestic environments.
