Aalto Cabinet 250

Cabinet 250, often referred to as the “cocktail cabinet”, returns to the standard Artek collection. Simple in form and celebratory in function, its understatedly beautiful exterior means it works as a stand-alone centrepiece for living rooms and dining areas, perhaps to house special tableware and refreshments. While Cabinet 250 is credited to Alvar Aalto owing to the inclusion of the L-leg, it is a furniture piece that has the spirit of Aino Aalto running through it, as archival documents show that she was the first to attach a cabinet body to the L-leg design.
