Peter’s Table was made by Hans J. Wegner as a supplement to Peter’s Chair from 1944, which was a christening gift for his friend and fellow furniture designer Børge Mogensen’s son Peter – a unique piece of furniture design and toy in one. The table is very easy to assemble without any tools and functions as an inviting, three-dimensional puzzle for children and adults alike. Since going into production, Peter’s Chair and Table have remained cherished classics.
